Jan. 16, 2006 In watching the news today, it confused me. A man that is on death row is, as always the case getting many on his side. Many inmates on death row have the hopes of getting a reprieve at the last moment of there life. That’s fine and at least have of the people in the world do not believe in death sentences which is ok. In the U.S. what people believe is their right. It seems that I believe in an eye for an eye. We have no room for crime in this country. No matter what the circumstances are you have no right to hurt, maim, steel, rape or pillage just because you need to do it. Good law abiding citizens need their rights honored also. The mans name will be protected but I still have an opinion on this unpleasant matter. It seems that he has taken a life. He is sitting on death row awaiting his demise. Many are coming to his aid only for one fact. This man happens to be deaf and blind. To me if you did the crimes then pay for them. Did the protesters worry of this man was deaf and blind as he was bludgeoning his victim? I wouldn’t care if the man had no legs or hands. If this guy was evil enough to kill, then he should be punished for it. Let’s look on the bright side. He won’t be able to see when they push the needle into his arm. I only feel for the victim. The protesters have led a sheltered life. When it happens to you my friends then look me up.
