Jan. 3, 2006 I keep getting e-mails from someone who calls himself John. He keeps threatening me by saying he’s going to contact any web site I post an article on and have me removed permanently. Since I have never mentioned what web sites or if I post to any other web sites, he must be stalking me. Otherwise, how would he know or more importantly why would he care? John’s contacted the Editor of Useless Knowledge and reported to him that I’m posting my articles from UK on other web sites. John, that is a damned lie. I’m capable of more than one thought at a time. Tom Keyes took exception to an article I wrote suggesting I believe there’s a God. In his article, he attacks the messenger more than the message. Had I taken umbrage with his premise there is no God, I doubt I would have taken all those cheap shots that Mr. Keyes took at me. Some of what he says may be true from his prospective, I never claimed to be perfect. One thing I do claim is that I don’t lie, Mr. Keyes, especially about things I don’t know. I haven’t read Mr. Keyes' article about me in detail. I can imagine what it says since its all been said before if not about me about others. For the life of me, I can’t understand how some writers fail to recognize the purpose of posting articles is to inform and entertain. How anyone could presume an attack on Ken Hughes would be either entertaining of informative is beyond my understanding. If they disagree with my opinions fine challenge them. What does my personal life have to do with how the world goes around and around? Does Mr. Keyes think attacking my article point by point with some added personal insults is going to change any minds as to there being a God or not? Unless he’s beginning to believe I do talk to God and God answers. If that’s your worry Mr. Keyes I promise I will not asked God to smite you down. However, that Guy John should start watching his step. For him who knows. To my friends and Gods friends don’t let the likes of Mr. Keyes discourage your belief in God. He doesn’t have any more proof of Gods existence or lack of it than we do. At least we have faith to back us up. Atheists don’t believe in anything They have nothing to base their theory of a Godless world on. I’ll end with this prayer. “Please God, look after the Keyes' of the world for they know not what they say and God I’m not including John in this prayer. I don’t care what you do with him.” Your Good Friend …………Ken Hughes ------------ About the author: Ken Hughes joined the Republican Party at the age of three.
