 By Allen Robinski Feb. 25, 2006 I have made several statements, mostly in E-Mail concerning this Natalee Holloway Case. I gather from some of the replies I get, that I do not care for the grief of Beth and Dave. This is far from the truth. I have great sympathy for the whole family. Most of my reasoning has been the names that Joran and the Van der Sloots have been called. I feel the names RAPIST, THUG, MURDERER and etc. are not justified. They may be these things, but it is yet to be proven by American Justice standards. I think these statements and accusations are no more accurate than the next persons assumptions. Joran and his friends are the most likely to know what happened, but there is that chance, that Joran is telling the truth that he left her on the beach. Yes, he has changed stories and this is reaping of guilt. However, is he guilty of Rape or murder or of being a 17 year old compulsive uncontrolled teen. His Mother has tha same Love for Jorna that the Twittty/Holloways have for Natalee. Also Ms. Van der Sloot was not in Aruba when this happened. Shall we deny her the right to defend and Love her son and onl;y allow that priviledge to Beth and the Family??. There is no proof that SOME of what Joran said is NOT true. The statement of Natalee saying her mom was like Hitler is not something Joran made up in my opinion. I feel some of the things he related that natalee said and did are true. Of course this in no way clears the way for him to take liberties and/or kill her, if this is what happened. My whole purpose of writing this article is to say that I stand by Beth and Dave in their grief. I certainly know the heartbreaks of such a loss. My main statement is that I do not like statements made with hatred. There are a lot of writers who have hatred for the Van der Sloots without any reason other than their own opinions. Yes, I think Aruba has defaulted in the search and people the likes of Dr Phil, Fox. CNN, ABC and MSNBC have allowed speculations to run wild.
