Feb. 22, 2006 Yes, I, along with several others work on The Natalee Holloway case. We are volunteers and we have never been paid for our time. Some of us are writers, some have a legal background and some are former members of major law enforcement groups.Some of us are merely concerned and caring individuals who feel badly for Beth Twitty and Dave Holloway. Some of us have children of our own and can only imagine the pain that Natalee's parents are gong through. Some of us have lost a child and KNOW that pain first hand. Whatever the reasons or the background stories, we all do the best that we can to aid in finding out what happened to Natalee. We do it every single day and for as long as it takes. We read and hear rumors that are so outrageous that it is hard to conceive of actual human beings who can come up with such magical thinking. We read of evidence that has never been released to the public yet is well known to these magical thinkers. It's like they have a hotline to Dompig's office. They wish. No matter, the "Suspects" were released because the cover-up of what happened to Natalee reaches far and wide. There is a lot to be lost on Aruba if the truth comes out and there are many who are making it their life's work to make sure that that doesn't happen. No one is working harder at preventing that truth from surfacing than Joran and Paulus van der Sloot. They have the most to lose if the truth is revealed and the most to gain from keeping things covered up. I read on some silly websites and message boards where people literally pretend to have inside information and yammer on and on about all manner of garbage that makes absolutely no sense unless you are a moron who knows absolutely nothing about the case and if you absolutely hate Natalee's mother, who you have never met. Calling her names, using cute little euphemisms for her real name, making up stories about Natalee's personal life, claiming to have actually known her, is par for the course in these places. There is no room for the truth on those places because there is no one there who is in a position to know the truth. In the meantime the yammering continues and the message boards are abuzz with wild theories and insane posturing. You would think by reading the words of some of these posters that they actually know Beth or have met Natalee. You would think that the entire world has turned into a bunch of Joran groupies and that he is to be worshipped and protected like some deity. They don't know him either, yet they KNOW that he is innocent of all charges. He did nothing wrong...how could he? He's god-like and Beth is evil personified. This is their mantra and it seldom changes. They raise money to take out ridiculous Ads and even talk about raising a legal defense fund for the van der Sloots. What a joke that is. The van der Sloots can buy and sell those people yet they are willing to throw away their hard earned pennies to offer legal support for a boy that they don't know to defend him against a girl that they never knew and never will. I wonder how many of them live in half million dollar homes and travel wherever and whenever they please. I wonder how many of them can afford private schools for their children? Probably very few if any, yet they will take food out of their children's mouths to support Joran the boy that they don't know to defend him against the girl that they never knew. Joran is free. Natalee is not and never will be unless the truth comes out and she can rest in peace and her family can have the comfort of knowing what happened to her.
