Feb. 19, 2006 I don’t get it. If you knew that I had but a high school education, or less, and made my living as an identity thief, would you breathlessly await my latest opinion on geo-political affairs? Would you forego making a decision on the accuracy of theories espousing the potential of cataclysmic devastation from global warming until you had heard from me? Of course not. But, what if I was dang cute? Still a professional liar, still uneducated, but with nice firm buttocks, a roguishly debonair profile, and the soft bronze tan of the idle rich – would that make you hang on my every word? OK, let’s restrict that question to the ladies, I don’t want to hear from any of you guys getting hot thinking about that. The sad truth to this second alternative, in way too many cases, is "YES, ABSOLUTELY, YOU GORGEOUS HUNK OF MAN CANDY!" In my experience, good looks are the most frequent cause of stupidity and general worthlessness. From my male experience, I’ve realized that each of us has one overarching motivation at our psyche’s core, one ambition, one goal that until met supercedes all others – getting laid. Yes, I acknowledge that some good men are disciplined enough to constrain that urge until finally agreeing to a lifelong commitment from a lady, but getting laid still fills their mind, both before and after their marriage. If you claim otherwise, you might be one of the 2% who don’t, but I doubt it. So, if, in a young man’s most formative years – his late teens – he finds getting laid very easy because he is sooo cute, it stunts his growth. In contrast, I was not cute and knew that if I were to ever get laid, I had to make something of myself to, at least, attract those ladies who sought financial stability from their lover. Almost without exception, the cutest guys in my high school had only minimal success in life whereas the ugly guys were very successful. I say all this after reading Michele Malsbury’s fawning article on George Clooney’s appearance on Larry King. One can almost envision her wringing her pants out as she typed. The guy is a certifiable buffoon, a result, no doubt, of a lifetime of women throwing themselves at him. He has no college education, and yet, is asked to pontificate on politics and world issues as if he’s an Ivy League educated intellectual. WHY WOULD ANYONE GIVE A RAT’S PATOOEY WHAT GEORGE "G.E.D." CLOONEY THINKS? I just don’t get it. How about some of the other "professional liars" in Hollywood? BTW, the skill of "acting," and I use the term "skill" lightly, is impossible to distinguish from the skill of "lying." Pretending to be someone you are not lands many people in jail, although many are very, very good at it. Yet, if you’re fortunate enough to have those firm buns and a handsome profile, instead of jail, you're living the good life and beaning hotel clerks with telephones. What do you think: Sean Penn – educated or uneducated? Alex Baldwin – educated or uneducated? Susan Sarandon – educated or uneducated? How about her live-in and fellow Liberal shill, Tim Robbins – educated or uneducated? Famous Liberal movie producer, Michael Moore – educated or uneducated? Harry Belafonte – educated or uneducated? Martin Sheen – educated or uneducated? "Hanoi" Jane Fonda – educated or uneducated? Her fellow anti-Vietnam war activist, Donald Sutherland – educated or uneducated? Obviously, I’m leaving some out, but these are the outspoken Hollywood liberals that came to mind as I wrote this. I looked each up on Wikipedia and only Tim Robbins – "drama" degree from UCLA, first two years at Plattsburg State University (woohoo) – and Sutherland – "drama" degree and engineering degree from the University of Toronto – had completed more than high school. None of the rest are stated as having graduated from college although several boast of flunking out and Martin Sheen even flunked the entrance exam for the University of Dayton. Go ahead, Michele and the rest of you firm buns admirers, think with your crotch.
