Feb. 17, 2006 Hunting accidents aren’t unusual unless you’re a high profile elected official. If they’re P C [Politically Correct] elected officials aren’t supposed to hunt poor little critters their supposed to protect them and cherish them as though they were voters. In the eyes of those who are truly P C all of Darwin’s creations are to be given their constitutional rights. Mean old un-sympatric men created shot guns, not Darwin. Perhaps but it was God who made the little critter taste so good. It was God who put the instinct in man to hunt them for food. God only created Soy-beans as ground cover to keep the soil from blowing around. God never dreamed anyone would eat the damn stuff. Now the Cheney hunting accident is beginning to fade articles on this web site and others are beginning to point out the ridiculous even worse the absurd. Is Cheney secretly an al Qaeda operative? Since the accident happened on the ranch owned by a former Halliburton executive did he shoot his attorney to shut him up as many claim the Clintons shut Vince Foster up? Was it really the Secret Service who was aiming at Cheney and missed? There’ll be no end to the speculation, hypotheses, misguided assertions and plain old bull s**t for months to come. Fortunately our Vice President is a Westerner, [Not one of those Broke Butt Hollywood Sheepherders or Eastern Elite’s] He’s a true Wyoming Man. Like Bush he didn’t grow up a cowboy, he grew up in cowboy country. Sometimes that’s enough. Dick Cheney has thick enough skin he can take the pelting brush it off then go on with his job. That’s what westerners do, their not like Kerry, Schumer and the rest of the liberal whining weenies who couldn’t muster a single sound mind to make up. The Democratic leadership is vastly underestimating the voters. These moronic attacks of Cheney for the accident are doing more to turn voter away from the Democrats than to trash Republicans. Most voters have at one time or another been involved in an accident. They know the pain that goes with such things. For Democrats to try to turn this into political capital is not only ridicules it tell us more about their sensitivity than we care to know. Dick Cheney had no obligation to choose reporting to the national media over caring for his friend. As we all know [first response] is always in favor of the victim, everything else comes second, third and so on. If there’s any insensitivity it’s on the part of the Media, Democrats and those who’re trying to be clever and aren’t quite making it. You did the right thing Dick Cheney.
