Feb. 11, 2006 Mrs. Martin Luther [Coretta Scott] King Jr. has been laid to rest. It is said by many the hardest step in her life’s journey may have come at her funereal. Considering it became more of a political rally than a time to honor a great Lady. The church wasn’t filled with the thousands who revered her for her commitment to the civil rights movement. Rather by a select group of political hacks, sitting congressmen and women, three former presidents and President George Bush. This wasn’t a funereal it was a gathering. It didn’t show respect it showed disrespect for one who deserved better. Black Hip-Hop Preachers and Politicians continually distort the true intentions of Dr. King and his commitment to civil rights. Dr. King preached Equality not Intolerance. This new generation of supposed black leaders would have their followers believe it was Democrats who gave them freedom from slavery and civil rights while just the opposite is true. Slavery was abolished by a Republican President. It was the first significant act of the new Republican Party. After President Lincoln was assassinated his successor President Johnson was impeached by a Democratic congress for trying to implement Lincolns reparations policies Under a Democratic led congress a new form of slavery, [separate but equal] was born. This insult to humanity continued for the next 100 years. It took Dr. King, Rosa Parks and those willing to risk all to follow them to change society once more. Democrats opposed civil rights. Democratic Attorney General Robert Kennedy turned J. Edgar Hoover [a devout racist] loose to spy on Dr. King. The Kennedy brothers are given far too much credit for their efforts working for civil rights. If there where any White Knights in those days it was President Lyndon Johnson and the Republicans in congress. The south was owned by the Democratic Party in those days. Much the same as Democrats did after the Civil War they rebelled and switched parties, first to Dixie-crats and later to the Republican Party. Democrats have a history of screwing blacks. Mass government entitlements never provided blacks with the opportunity to share in the American dream. It was just another redefinition of slavery. Those sneaky Dem’s have a way of smiling lying and making people believe they’re serious. The Black hip-hop leaders swear by the Democrats, and why is that. Because the black leaders live an opulent life style in white communities while their follower live in the hood filled with missed opportunities. I doubt Dr. King would have been proud of some of those who spoke at Coretta Kings funereal. Dr. King gave his life to make blacks equal with their fellow white citizens in this great land filled with equal opportunity for all, [that Democrats deny blacks.] Enough money has been allocated by the governments both state and federal to make every poor person in this country a millionaire. Most has been miss-spent by those trying to understand poverty and how to best allocate the funds. They’re usually white bureaucrats and oreos who just want to keep it happening. If racisms still exists in America it can be attributed to black leaders, politicians, the media, and the bureaucracy. It sure as hell can’t be blamed on the tax payers. The civil rights movement had many heroes both black and white. Where are those heroes today? Who’s making an effort to educate the young black children in the hood who’re more concerned with dodging decadence and bullets than attending school? I have some advice for black leaders I’m sure the Kings would agree with. “Stop bitching and start leading.” The leaders of the civil rights movement are leaving us. Let’s pray God sends a new group with the same dedication and commitment to elevating and not suppressing minorities as those in the past. I’ll get a flood of e-mail calling me a racist. Please anyone tell me where I’m wrong in my assessment?
