Feb. 10, 2006 Like Pat, I too was riveted this week to see the mothers of Van Der Sloot and Twitty go at it head to head. Now there's a celebrity boxing match in the making! Now those that know me, know that i normally watch "Divorce Court" just for the goofy reasons people give for marriage and divorce, like the one lady that stated "I married him because he had a cool Trans Am." But that morning, when I heard that Twitty was facing off against Van Der Dumb, I had to watch. Like Pat, I was confused why Van Der Dumb's mother put him on a pedestal when her husband is a very influential judge in their homeland. And why would she place Jordan on such a high morality rate when we know, the whole world knows, what her son did? And Beth trying to portray her daughter as a tea-totaled innocent? Oh please, I can tell just by the look in my kids' eyes when they are lying to me. Sometimes I smell breaths to see who ate the bananas I bought for banana pudding. So why are these two mothers screaming innocence for their children? That's a simple answer, no mother wants to believe her child is a wild animal. Any woman who has carried a child inside her for 9 months, does not want to believe that the person you fall instantly in love with can do such horrible things and no matter what, a mother's love conquers all. But in my opinion, and just as much as i love my children, I don't think I could be Mrs. Van Der Sloot. I would be spending my husband's money on psychiatric care and to help find Natalee. But that is me, I care like that. My heart is too big, but if I had a psychotic killer in the family, I would go bankrupt to find out the truth of what happened that night. The whole interview was surreal. I wanted to slap both women for trying to make their kids look like innocents that just happened to cross paths. My opinion? Jordan Van Der Sloot needs psychiatric care because if he is let out of jail, he will do it again or some other crime. it's a common denominator. just look at the "Preppie Murderer." he started by killing Jennifer Levin and then turned to burglary to fuel his cocaine habit. Mark my words people, this is not the last criminal action that Jordan Van Der Dumb will commit if he is not fried for Natalee.
