Solving The Mexican Border And The Israeli Problems Simultaneously

By Brooks A. Mick, M.D.
Dec. 3, 2006

Even before Israel was situated in the Middle East, the Muslims have been determined to kill Jews. Even if Israel were located in Antarctica, I do not think that the Muslim extremists would give up their use of the Jews as a scapegoat upon which to blame all the ills of their own refusal to enter the 19th Century. But it would make it more difficult to attack Israel, at least, if Israel were not situated in the middle of the Middle East.

And doggone, we have all those illegal Mexican aliens streaming across the border. The congress and the president don't seem disposed to do anything actually effective about it, more enamored of talking than doing.

I have a proposal which might help. The Israelis are not at all hesitant to build a wall to keep out Palestinian infiltrators. And Iran is developing ballistic missiles capable of reaching Israel where it is now situated.

So how about we take about a 50-mile-wide strip of land along the US/Mexican border and we donate that to Israel--in fact, how about we make it the NEW ISRAEL! And we move all the Israelis there. And we can move all the holy spots of Jerusalem there too, for all I care.

That would accomplish much.

First, the Israelis would put up fences and keep the Mexicans from infiltrating Israel, and if they couldn't get into Israel, they would automatically be kept out of the USA.

Second, Israel would be out of reach of present-day Muslim fanatic ballistic missiles. It would give us a little more time to try to reform the Middle East into decent members of the world community.

Third, since the Muslim extremists would no longer be able to say their goal was to push Israel out of the Middle East, their real goal, the destruction of western civilization in its entirety, would be revealed to the world. Their traditional scapegoat would be no longer available.

Fourth, Israel itself would have a better climate, better terrain, and better access to raw materials for its industry and agriculture.

Fifth, it would make it much less expensive for Jewish folks in New York and elsewhere to visit their relatives in Israel.

Sixth, some decent, honest, honorable Muslims, having lost their source of livelihood when Israel pulled out of the Middle East, might opt to move to Israel and demonstrate to the world that it is possible to coexist.

Well, maybe the latter is a stretch. But the rest seems feasible. What do you think?

Makes sense to me!
