Aug. 31, 2006 Anne Bradstreet once said If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome. I've realized we go through trials and may experience the snares life has awaiting for us! Many times we complain, other times we cry! It may even seem like things never will be 100%!! If you're bills are paid?? -You're broke. You may even have a job, however, not have a car to drive around! Maybe its thee other way around!!!! Maybe all is well financially but deep down inside you're not happy! Maybe you have the latest toys & gadgets on the market or the top notch clothes - But you lack things such as joy!!! or vise verse! - Maybe your accomplishments are inducing hatred from certain groups or individuals. (Realize today im focusing on one season....and the other "feelings" I will address at a latter time) Moreover, I've realized that life isnt designed for eveything to flow smoothly! So to my brother out there who deals with lifes everyday endeavours! Or the young woman who approaches stressfull situations...if you feel like or adapted the attitude: "if it aint one thing, its alllllways another" This is for you!!! Most of my close friends know that I haven't interacted or socialized with them like usual! Thats because I placed myself into a shell!!! No random phone conversations, no interaction with the world! Just me in my room reflecting for about 3 months! (Another reason why the blogs have been delayed) But now that i've decided to come out of it I feel soooo liberated, so beautiful, I feel resurrected. Moreover, I had an epiphany ! I realized in order for me to feel resurrected..a piece of Walker had to DIE~ And that took place during those months! Now I feel like a new person! With new responsibilites, new aquaintances and endeavours! Now, I can appreciate this time because I've realized what I just came from. I remember the times spent alone, I remember the long hours of writers block, I remember being involved in the church...but having to reley on indiviuals from the secular realm! I remember those times of sorrow not knowing where I was going live next! Moreover, I realize I was going through a season! While we're in these paticular seasons I learn that theyyyyyy never seem like they will pass! And ostensibly, they seem like they wont go away! Be let me assure you...they will! To the person dealing with sexual bondages! keep pushing yo, to the person unemployed - keep pushing, to the college student or teen whose just confused about EVERYTHING!!!! just contiue to push, dealing with violence? PUSH, family?? PUSH!! Dealing with insubordinate children? PUSH!!!! Continue to hope for the best and hold it down! Even an oak tree started off as just a couple of nuts; holding their ground! The Point of this blog was to: (1) Address a season many people are going through! The Season of grief and instability: Disequilibrium. However, continuing to let you know that it wont stay night forever...daybreak is a second away! (2) Try to keep the faith! Whether you believe in God or a supreme Diety - Or you don't! Everyone goes through different stages in life in which I call 'Seasons"! And THAT is a UNIVERSAL truth! (3) And to PUSH yo! Its as simple as that!
