You really know how to make a guy feel proud, Thomas Keyes. I loved your autobiography of Tom Pain. You picked out many of my greatest lines. I don’t know how to thank you other than to refer our readers to the similarly laudatory U-K article I posted about you long ago.

I know it doesn’t really fit in with the image of me you’re trying to create, but it does fit the image I had of you for so long, that of our resident scholar – until you seemed to morph into a Jew-hating, bigoted hate-monger. Perhaps our readers will read the article and know that neither description is accurate. I’m not the arrogant, vulgar attacker you’ve described, and you’re not the paragon of virtue I described. In truth, we are both a little of each.

What? You don’t consider yourself a bigot? You say that your hatred of Jews is merited? Every bigot in the world agrees with your rationale. I suppose that you also believe that it wasn’t actually me that wrote those kind words about you once upon a time – how could a vulgar arrogant attacker do that? And those other articles (examples: article 1, article 2, article 3) of mine that don’t fit the stereotype of me you want to create, shouldn’t you try to convince folks that I have a split personality?

I appreciate that you are trying to cultivate a genteel persona for yourself to our readership, but I wonder what they would think of those emails you sent urging me to attack Ken Hughes and Denis Siluk? You now hypocritically criticize me for doing so – maybe you’re just a genteel hypocrite? But wait, didn’t you post some fairly ugly criticism of Denis yourself (article 1, article 2, article 3)? Maybe you’re really only a sporadically genteel hypocrite.

As much as I was surprised by your hard work in assembling excerpts from many of my best exposes, I have to admit to even greater surprise that you would choose that format for your opinion. Am I the only one that senses something wrong about posting a column that insults someone for posting columns that insult someone?

While I do not deny much of your allegations – I did not choose the name Tom Pain lightly and feel a duty to uphold the standards it suggests – I must object to your characterization of my motives. I do not attack because someone disagrees with me. I attack liars, distorters, and manipulators although, unfortunately, those who disagree with me more often have to resort to lies and distortion to do so.

For example, I really did not have much of an opinion on the Israel situation when I first read your lies and distortions, and of your hatred for Jews. It was that your accusations seemed so illogical that I was motivated to research the issues. After discovering the truth, your lies seemed even uglier. And I realized that you were not the only one lying about Jews – they have been persecuted for centuries. Your hatred and lies are neither new, unique, nor even sly; they’re just lies, the same old lies.

That is why I exposed your bigotry after each hate piece you posted. And that is why you now attack me.

Of course, our readership knows that you’ve made no attempt to answer my charges. And they know my exposure of you was well documented with solid facts and links to more data – despite this current article’s accusation that I do not do so. I doubt anyone believes your pitiful excuse that I offended you, the cowardice is obvious and acts to confirm the accuracy of my rebuttal. That you now choose to attack me without answering my rebuttals confirms the depths of your depravity.

Yep, Thomas, you and I are birds of a feather. We’re both arrogant, we both attack others. And we both have faults – I am prone to rather harsh assessments using overly colorful and abusive language; you are a bigot towards Jews and a cowardly debater.

I hope you’ll continue to post my articles for all to read. Since some do not appear under my new moniker, readers do not have easy access to them. I’ll continue to post articles exposing your lies as well. We can both benefit from each other.
