Aug. 19, 2006 One of these days I might learn to be tactful and politically correct in my various political opinions. Today will not be that day however. Mike Wallace ruined a perfect chance to be the hero of the world the other day. Just like the day Dan Rather could have immortalized himself by taking a hand grenade into his interview with Saddam Hussein and pulling the pin while shouting: “Hillary be Praised!” Mike Wallace could have snuck in a 9mm pistol and given Mahmoud Ahmadinejad a new earlobe! So much for missed chances. As for the death of JonBenet Ramsey being called an “accident” by the man currently confessing to being the alleged catalyst of the “accident” I would have to say that marks of “beating and “strangulation” aren’t marks of any accident. This 41-year-old pedophile who admits he “was in love” with a 6-year-old may be as sexually corrupt as any other pedophile but we’ll all have to wait to see if the DNA found under JonBenet’s fingernails are a match before sending this fellow to pedophilic paradise. The International AIDS conference that was recently held in Toronto, Canada attempted to politically co-rectify the term “prostitution” into the term “sex work”. This is a case of still ignoring the processes that spread the AIDS virus in hope that prostitution can find legitimacy. Although many places in the world allow legal prostitution, there are still no real attempts to ensure venereal diseases are not passed between individuals. Robert Mugabe told his non-productive farmers to get with the program or lose the farms he stole from the former white owners who were successfully feeding the population of Zimbabwe and give them to other people who might be better farmers even if they can’t be as good as the former white owners who were successfully feeding the population of Zimbabwe. Oh, in case you missed it; Zimbabwe’s inflation rate has dropped to 996 percent, down from the 1186 percent last year. Dictator Fidel Castro received get well wishes from Dictator Kim Jong Il of North Korea and Elian Gonzalez, the child formerly impeached intern philanderer Bill Clinton had forcibly removed from Florida and returned to the Communist Dictatorship. Dictator Hugo Chavez also visited the erstwhile Communist curmudgeon in the hospital and a rumor I’m trying to start has Dick Durbin and the formerly Islamic-fascist- appeaser Jimmy Carter sponsoring a prayer breakfast and fund raiser for the dictator. Rumor has it too that Cindy Sheehan is sponsoring a prayer vigil for the man who hates Bush almost as much as she does. Speaking of Ms. Sheehan and her waning stardom in other than communist societies; I hope she enjoys her new acreage next store to George Bush in Crawford, Texas. I have no idea what she’ll do when George is out of office and the next President is forced to continue a war that was started by the unhappy minions of Islam. Will she sell the Crawford land as a historical monument to liberal asininities? Will she hold the land and erect a statue to herself; declaring the site some holy Mecca on behalf of anti-war protestors? We shall see. And what of Ned Lamont? Fifty-two percent of Connecticut Democrats say he’s the new man. He’s that go to guy when speaking against all things war-like. He’s the guy the Taliban endorses as the new “White Hope” of Democrats everywhere. The only problem it seems is that Ned must now run to the middle. He has secured the radical left and the radical Islamists of Connecticut. But what of the so-called moderate Democrats and the not-so-liberal-as-you’d-notice democrats that prefer Joe Lieberman ganging up with the Republicans who will cross party lines and the so-called moderates and the Independents who will surely want someone other than the extremely liberal Lamont representing them in the Senate? Stay tuned. Is Hilary in the doghouse with liberals? Finally, I am satisfied that the 9 planet solar system I submitted during my 6th grade science fair was politically correct at the time. Science is saying there might be as many as 41 more “Pluto-sized” dwarf planets out there, but it may not be politically correct to call them “dwarfs”. They are more or less “circumferentially-challenged”. ------------ About the Author: Michael John McCrae has contributed over 500 articles to Useless-Knowledge.com.
