Aug. 12, 2006 It appears that CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, is upset because President Bush spoke true words yesterday, saying that we are in a war with Islamic fascism. They don't like the linkage of Islam with fascism. However, a reading of the definitionof fascism proves that Bush was correct. Definition of fascism: "A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism." There are questions, then, about why a group which fits the definition of fascist is supported by Democrats, liberals in general, and other non-fascist Muslims. It's actually easy to coem up with the answers. 1) Why are the non-fascist Muslims silent when it comes to denouncing terrorism? a) They are afraid--terrorists are scary! They might be killed if they speak out. b) CAIR has been infiltrated by known terrorists and their supporters. Whenever that smarmy Ibraheem Hooper comes on TV, as he did after 9/11, to denounce the blaming of Muslims, one can see how scary he is. 2) Why do liberals object to characterizing terrorists as terrorists or Islamic fascists? a) It's just their nature to oppose anything sensible. b) It's theirnature to oppose anything Bush does or says, no matter how obviously correct. c) It's just their nature to oppose anything which favors the USA. 3) Why Do Democrats object? a) See (2) above. b) They are just perpetually objecting. More seriously, please note I am running for President of the USA on the Sane Libertarian ticket. I'm trying to convince the Libertarian Party to become SANE, but not having much success. If I am elected, I will do my best to convince Russia, China, Spain, Italy, and the rest of the world that it is in their interest to face up to and oppose Islamic Fascism now before the radical Muslims in Indonesia get their hands on nuclear weapons. That would presuppose that I can get a huge dose of a major antipsychotic drug introduced into their water supply. This will involve the clandestine use of our spec-ops forces. But we can do it. If we have the will. We have the technology. It will also necessitate bombing the UN headquarters in New York City, but we can do that too. And while we are at it, putting antipsychotic drugs in the water coolers in the Senate cloakroom is under consideration. If elected, my campaign slogan will be, "I don't CAIR!
