Aug. 9, 2006 Today’s paper gave me one article on the war being waged in Lebanon. You know. That is the war where Israel is doing the right thing against the world’s terrorist elements. They are killing them. They are ignoring the pleas for a cease-fire that will only benefit terrorist cowards that hide behind civilians and the blue flags of the United Nations. That article was on page 14. The “Stars and Stripes” has decided that a war in which the good guys are beating the terrorist scum isn’t newsworthy. They have returned to the “RAPE” banner headlines and they are now printing articles about quote: “Seven civilian massacres from 1967 to 1971 that left at least 137 dead.” And “Seventy-eight additional attacks on unarmed civilians that left at least 57 dead; 56 wounded and 15 sexually assaulted.” The Israeli army cannot be bashed. They are protecting their homeland and keeping the damage by Hezbollah’s rockets to a minimum. Meanwhile, media has again started pushing the evil of the American Armed Forces; going back decades into the archives to locate past atrocities with which to bash an already battered legacy of unparalleled heroism. The mind boggles. Where are the stories of Sudanese atrocities against the population of the Darfur Region of the Sudan? Where are the stories of the United Nations’ soldiers that have been sexually assaulting the women of the Congo and the Darfur? Where are the stories concerning the white people killed and deported from Zimbabwe? Why am I reading more horror stories about atrocities in Guantanamo Bay than in the jails of Communist China? Never mind. I have those answers. We have discovered the war in Lebanon is being doctored to make it look worse than it actually is. The evil Israelis are murdering civilians. Boo Hoo! We are not reading about how many of these so-called civilians are actually terrorists hiding behind the skirts of women and the playgrounds of children. Hezbollah parades dead children through streets for hours getting the best of Reuters photo-ops and everyone is supposed to feel sad for the terrorists. The terrorists should be thanking those dead children for taking the bullets that were meant for them! Terrorists deserve no respect. The first scumbag that stands up and says: “I am the leader of that group that killed all those innocent babies”, is the first scumbag that should be facing a tribunal or a bullet. Does anyone disagree that Osama bin Laden should be killed? How about the leader of Hezbollah; Nesrallah? What of the leaders of Iran who routinely train and dispatch homicide killers by the battalion-load? It could be that there are too many enemies in the world. I read that John Edwards is calling for immediate retreat from Iraq and there are quite a few behind him yelling for the same. As if retreat from Iraq will solve anything. Terrorists deserve no quarter. The gang in Guantanamo deserves a swift hearing followed by an even quicker execution of sentence. It wouldn’t matter if we released them all tomorrow. Within two weeks they would be back on the battlefields of Afghanistan and Iraq with their AK-47’s all spouting their Islamo-fascist crapola to the closest CNN reporter. Give them back their guns and let them take their chances on a battlefield. Terrorists deserve no negotiation. To hell with unequal prisoner exchanges and any demand of any terrorist. If they lay down their arms we will stop shooting. If they surrender we promise a fair trial and a painless execution. If they insist on continuing with homicide bombing and rocket attacks, we will kill them until they are all very dead. It is time for diplomatic efforts against known terrorist elements to stop. We negotiate while they take advantage of reprieve and kill. It is time to continue the battle; giving no respite to the enemy. They put up the unconditional white flag or they can expect continual carnage. War is supposed to be hell for all sides. To date; it is not enough of a hell for the terrorists. No one-sided cease-fire. They shoot, we shoot back. That is simple. That is wise. America spent many years taking hits without any adequate response. We are still “stuck on stupid” letting terrorists hide in hospitals, schools and mosques and failing to turn those structures into piles of rubble that bury the terrorists alive. Israelis know better. You strike at the terrorist wherever he hides. Terrorists deserve no respect for hiding behind civilians. They deserve no quarter for their taking on the soft civilian targets and killing innocents and they deserve no negotiation because they have nothing to offer on behalf of peace.
