Apr. 30, 2006 War is certainly to be lamented. When an enemy sees his opportunity to stab an entire nation in its heart and kills 3000 citizens in a shameless display of Islamic fervor; or plans the destruction of diplomatic properties, killing hundreds with homicide car bombs; or sends his homicidal minions to sink an American warship in a Middle eastern port, war is certainly to be lamented. Watching the many Islamic based conflicts in the world it is a wonder that Osama Bin Laden’s image was so prominent in an American anti-war protest. It is incredible to me, all these Americans lamenting a war against terrorism that killed many of their own people. I suppose they have all forgiven the Islamic dealers of death and mayhem. I suppose the gaping hole in the middle of New York City is now a thing of the past to be forgotten. I suppose if Bin Laden were found alive tomorrow the ACLU would pull out all the stops to defend the mass murderer. The pictures of the posters being carried by the protestors made a lot of sense too. One of the posters read: “Bush is more Evil than Bin Laden”. That poster was easily identified as an outright lie supporting terrorism. The anti-war protestor was supporting Bin Laden’s terrorism over the efforts of the President to stop the Islamic slaughter of American citizens. I’m sure that made Bin Laden very happy. I suppose the moron that held that sign believes Karl Rove was flying one of the jetliners that smashed into the World Trade Center too. A second poster exclaimed: “Impeach Bush, Fire Rummy, Jail Rove”. It was a long photo shot but it looked like the sign was being held by an older blondish type lady, looking much like Hillary Clinton! One of the more oxymoronic signs among the protestors was: “Out of Iraq, Into Darfur”. Yeah, like that makes any sense. That would be jumping out of one Islamic frying pan into the one right next to it. Sudan has already said that they would fight against any force entering Darfur. The anti-war idiots that held that sign were apparently looking for more American soldier bodies to count. Then there was the poster: “End The Grief!” pictured next to a poster with Bin Laden’s likeness pointing like the ancient Uncle Sam poster reading: “I want you to invade Iraq” with the “q” crossed out and replaced with and “n” (denoting Iran). I asked myself whose grief were these ladies looking to end; the grief of the families who lost loved ones in New York, Washington, D.C. and Pennsylvania; the grief of the families who lost loved ones in Kenya or Tanzania or Aden or Bali or Madrid, or London, or Istanbul, or Baghdad; the grief of those who lost family members protecting the American homeland from further loss of loved ones from terrorist homicidal intent; or the grief of Osama Bin Laden? An estimated 300,000 people participated in the war protest. These people believe it is incumbent upon America to leave Iraq immediately, giving the terrorists the victory. These people don’t care how many more Iraqis die at the hands of terrorists as long as no more American troops die. That is certainly a selfish goal worthy of liberal thought and practice. These same “scruds” were nowhere to be found when Clinton stuck America in the middle of the Serbian, Bosnian, Croatian, Kosovo conflict. These same “scruds” haven’t been on the streets of Mecca and Medina or Tehran or even Baghdad, demanding the freaking terrorists stop killing innocent people. But, of course, that is whistling in the wind. The modern anti-war movement is entirely anti-American. The minute we stop trying to defend American Freedom and Liberty is the minute the Castro’s, the Chavez’s, the Jintao’s, the Jong Il’s, The Mugabe’s, and the Bin Laden’s of the world win. This is the goal of the modern anti-war movement. These brain-damaged minions of terrorist support cannot be that stupid that they believe the murdering Islamists will stop their jihad? America did nothing to start this war except ignore capturing the one man who now seems to be the chief symbol of the anti-war movement. By failing to secure that Islamic dealer of death we brought death right to the shores of America and now we cannot extract it. Radical Islamism is pacing the streets of America looking for its next target. Anti-War Protests and Pro-Illegal Immigration Protests in the same week as pictures and vocals from Bin Laden, Zachawi and Zawahri makes one think this is a worldwide coordinated effort, funded by Islamic radicalism to bring down the American government. Following the money that supports all these protests would be an interesting exercise in Communist expose. Quoting from the article: “Tens of Thousands Join Community Leaders in Anti-War March on Manhattan”, Sunday, April 30, 2006: “"We are here today because the war is illegal, immoral and unethical," said the Rev. Al Sharpton.”We must bring the troops home." The Rev. Sharpton would not know “illegal, immoral and unethical” if it was biting him in his nether-regions. The formulator of the Tawana Brawley lies that caused racial strife and the death of at least one person he has yet to apologize for; Sharpton apparently doesn’t see the events of 9/11/2001 as “illegal, immoral, and unethical”. He sees the attempt by the duly elected government of America to protect itself from any more such events as ‘illegal, immoral and unethical”. To Sharpton Bin Laden is a saint.
