Apr. 29, 2006 What is the difference between American corporations exporting jobs to third world nations and third world nations throwing their unemployed millions illegally over American borders to take up American jobs? Democrats and liberals have been screeching about free trade rules and the exportation of jobs. Of course, these jobs are supposedly jobs Americans want to do. Why? Because Unions have negotiated many of these now exported positions into stratospheric hourly wage and tenured positions if held in the United States. When the unions lose jobs they lose income and union bosses find their six-figure salaries in jeopardy. When unions lose money, Democrat politicians supported by unions find their contribution levels in jeopardy. “Stop exportation of these high paying Democrat support positions!” They cry. Between 11 and 20 million illegal aliens have breached American borders. They come to suck up 20 million American jobs and send billions of dollars from their salaries out of America, back to their home nations. America loses this money. Because these people are illegal entrants into America the majority of them do not pay taxes other than the various consumption (sales) taxes that everyone pays. They do not pay property taxes, federal income taxes or state income taxes that support the public school systems their children attend while illegally living in America. America loses more money. Because they are on American soil they gain access to the schools, medical centers and social services that American taxpayers support. America loses more money. Because the vast majority of these illegal people do not care to assimilate into American society they harm American society with their protests demanding rights they are not entitled to. They shut down American schools and businesses while claiming they have the right to take back America from the Americans who actually make the country work. America loses more money. Meanwhile, the jobs being exported save money for American corporations; keeping them in business and keeping them in America and paying American taxes. The jobs stolen by illegal runners of American borders cost America money supplying free services to people who have circumvented law while those who have obeyed the immigration laws of America have to pay higher taxes to support those who steal. When the 2006 elections are over all the crying, moaning and groaning will end. Employers will still seek illegal workers because they can pay them less than established minimum wages. Illegal aliens will still seek free American stuff because no state laws will be amended to keep American stuff for Americans. Politicians will go PC and then they will go quiet as if the problem never existed. The recent generic poll that shows a third party candidate favorable to wall building and immigration law enforcement trouncing the Democrat or the Republican that prefers the status quo tells me that it is time for that third party candidate to step forward. Put up the wall. Kick out all 20 million illegal border jumping invaders and turn their jobs over to legal American taxpayers who speak English, sing the National Anthem in English and fly the American flag right side up! Tell the rest of the world that if they want to immigrate to America they had better do it legally and they had better come prepared to learn the language. They had better come prepared to become American.
