Apr. 27, 2006 When I sing Karaoke I try to find “Old Man”, “Cinnamon Girl”, and “Heart of Gold’ by Neil Young. I can still carry those tunes and I have always been a fan of the man. That Mr. Young has put together what is being touted as an “anti-Bush” album doesn’t bother me a bit. Neil Young has always been anti-war and anti-establishment. When he starts endorsing Hillary Clinton for President is where I will probably draw my line. For now I don’t care. I have always enjoyed the man’s music and poetry. I hope he has a lot more stuff stuffed in that rascally, impeachment-oriented brain stem. America is still the land where dissent is permitted without threat of firing squad or mass grave. Speaking of firing squads and mass graves there is Iran. Everyone is catering and schmoozing the land of the great unwashed and bearded president and his continual railings against all things western. America has always made it a point to allow the criminally insane a bye in the stupidity department. Old Mahmoud is getting some bye. Every country in the world is kissing the collective butts if Iran’s mullahs, begging them not go nuclear. I’m sure all that begging will work too. Has anyone noticed that the death toll continues to rise in Darfur, Sudan? Just asking gang; just asking. One man’s leak is another man’s whistle being blown. Hey! Have you ever seen such a rash of giveaways? The CIA is letting all the squawkers squawk about secret stuff. This is just another nail in the American coffin. I think we should let all those CIA pukes spit out their secrets. The quicker that happens the quicker China can press its take-over-the-world scenario. I read where China is buying up Cuban oil rights and is preparing to begin drilling in the Gulf of Mexico. Isn’t that a pip! America has environmental laws against drilling in the Gulf. China, the land of the collapsible coal mine and the low visibility due to smog and its inability to follow the Kyoto protocol is going to begin drilling oil in the Gulf of Mexico. In fact, Mexico is going to start doing more of that too. There go the beaches in Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, and Texas! Does anyone out there believe Mexico or China give a damn about American environmental laws? Hamas still won’t give up their position on the total destruction of Israel. Here’s a no brainier: a nation run by terrorists is threatening to completely wipe your country off the map of the world; what do you do? A) Allow the terrorists to kill of your entire population. B) Run crying to the United Nations? C) Defend your country and kill the terrorists. D) Give away more land in hope that this 97th time an Arab might actually keep a promise? So the world is still a mess and there is not one Democrat with a fix. I took a month off shortly after posting my 600th column at UK. I really didn’t take off; I just went to my other site for a while. I was neglecting my fan base there. I threw away everything in my In-Box because the news I’ve been getting here really sucks. We’re losing the war. The Army is a bunch of thugs and marauders.
