Protecting The Propaganda Of Terrorists

By Samuel Sandbaugh
Apr. 27, 2006

Quote: “The Middle East war is not now and never was a conflict between Israelis/Jews on the one hand and Palestinians on the other. In fact, the Arab-"Palestinians", while currently the perpetrators of most of the anti-Jewish atrocities, were never a very important part of the conflict. In fact, before about 1970, virtually no one in the world considered the Middle East conflict to be one between Israelis and Palestinians.”

“The term "Palestinian" itself had referred to Israeli Jews back in the 1940s, and had been slowly deconstructed and redefined to refer to the Arabs in the West Bank and Gaza. The Middle East Conflict was always a war by Arabs against Jews, not a conflict between Israelis and "Palestinians." The war was repackaged as a conflict between Jews and Palestinians as a public relations gimmick by the Arab fascist regimes. These regimes had never had any interest in "Palestinians," in creating a "Palestinian" state, or in "Palestinian nationalism" before 1967. That is because Palestinian nationalism did not and DOES NOT exist. The Palestinians were a regional group of Arabs having virtually no cultural or national distinctive traits separating them from Syrians, Lebanese, and Jordanians. They are all basically Arabs!”

“The bulk of what are called "Palestinian Arabs" are members of families who migrated into the Land of Israel beginning in the late 19th century. Palestinian nationalism is a mislabeling of Arab nationalism. Arab nationalism exists, although it is closely bound up with Islamic nationalism and even Islamism. Palestinian nationalism, however, is a phantom. It is nothing more than genocidal hatred of Jews!”

“The Arab assaults and aggressions against Israel in 1948, 1956, 1967, 1968, and 1973 had nothing to do with Palestinians. The Palestinian terror campaign would itself be easy to suppress today and eradicate if the Middle East conflict were really a Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Israel would simply obliterate the terrorists and expel their supporters to Syria and Lebanon. The Middle East war continues because it is really an Arab-Israeli war, not an Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It is also in large part a war between barbarism and civilization. In many ways an Islamic religious jihad against the Jews.” End of quote.

From: The History of Israel And Palestine at http://www.masada2000.org/historical.html

It is true that when God gave the promised lands to Israel he helped them fight the wars that were necessary to secure the borders of those lands. That God is the sovereign of the universe and is perfectly entitled to keep his chosen nation secure is just one of those things that finite humans may not understand, but should not question.

It is also true that from the very day God gave the land to Israel, Israel had to fight to keep it. What helped them secure and maintain their borders for some time was their faith in the Law of God and their ability to keep Israel from the pollution of idol worship. When the nation failed to recognize their God and his law the nation failed and was taken into captivity. There were a series of Prophets that God rose up to warn the nation of such consequences but many of these warnings went unheeded.

Although God disbursed his chosen nation because of their disobedience, he also promised that a remnant would always remain faithful and eventually the nation would again occupy the promised lands. The fulfillment of those prophesies began in 1948.

As noted above, the very day that Israel declared independence they were attacked by Arab armies including that of Egypt. These armies were defeated 19 months later and Israel could have pressed its initiative but did not. The web site above provides a history of the several Arab-Israeli conflicts to the present time if you care to brush up on that slice of Jewish history.

The question the atheist asked was: “Are we to assume that Jews have resided peacefully in Israel for centuries and that Palestinians, appearing as if from nowhere, have occupied and deforced Jewish lands?”

The answer to which could be “yes and no”. Yes, the Jews resided in Israel for centuries, but these were centuries filled with Arab hatred and multiple attacks against the Jewish society. That Israel was always able to defeat her enemies was a testament to their faith in the God who settled them in their land. There were periods of peace, but these were few. The fact is the Jews were “Palestinians” also. There were Jewish Palestinians and Arab Palestinians. The enmity between the two existed from the time Abraham kicked Hagar and Ishmael from his encampment. The so-called “Palestinians” of this age are all Arabs and all terrorists from the time Arafat formed them up in 1967. They are not and never were the original owners of the lands. Their decedents ran away from the land at Arab urging and a promise that they would eventually be returned when all the Jews were killed.

Then the atheist asked: “Are we to assume that hundreds of thousands of Jews were made refugees because of Palestinian encroachments?”

The answer to this might be no. It wasn’t because of “Palestinian encroachments” but it was because of other Arab nation attacks. At one point Jews were completely eradicated from their lands and were only permitted a return to the land when Nebuchadnezzar was convinced of the identity of the true God and Nehemiah was able to convince his king to allow him to return to the land to rebuild Jerusalem.

Then the atheist lowers his debate by asking: “Are we to assume that Iraq invaded the US, for absolutely no good reason, on the basis of a pack of lies invented by their leaders?”

I understand the bitterness behind such a question, but having accused me of “ignorance” the atheist certainly places his on display. Iraq did not invade the United States but it did attack Israel during the first Gulf War and the president of Iraq did sign over $25,000 to every family of the Palestinian-Arabs who supplied a martyr to kill innocent Jews. I don’t know of any particular lies spoken by the Republican administration to justify war with Saddam Hussein. I do recall 17 United Nations resolutions which spoke of “consequences” that were all ignored by Iraq’s president and I recall myriad comments by Democrats all throughout the Clinton administration warning of Hussein’s threats with weapons of mass destruction and how we had to stop the madman and his plans.

The next two questions from the atheist are interesting: “Are we to assume that Iraqis, armed to the teeth, are all over the US, wreaking mayhem? Did the people of St. Louis, having killed four Iraqi mercenaries, bring down the wrath of Iraq and witness their city bombed and destroyed, as they fled for safety?”

The answer to the first is no. Since September 11th 2001 the United Sates has been relatively successful (not completely) in keeping terrorism off American streets. Some home-grown terrorists have been able to cause harm as snipers or bombers or spreaders of anthrax, but there have been no major terrorist events for nearly 5 years. The second question really isn’t a question but a terrorist support statement couched as a question. This is a typical liberal tactic of debate.

I believe the point the atheist is trying to make with such questions is that Iraq and the Palestinians were never evil killers of innocents and never used weapons of mass destruction against women and children. Both of those points would be lies considering the facts of history.

Then the atheist goes on to misunderstand and misrepresent what is clearly sarcasm. “His ironic observation that anything detrimental to the world is the fault of Jews and George Bush is an absolute pile of nonsense.”

This has clearly been the thrust of liberal media since the beginning of the Bush Administration. 9/11 was blamed on Bush. Katrina was the fault of Bush. The death of Cindy Sheehan’s son was the fault of Bush. If not the fault of Bush then clearly it is the fault of the Jews in the government, the treasury, and in Israel. It is the evil Jew who “occupies” Palestinian property. It is as the atheist says “nonsense”. My observation was not “ironic” it was “sarcastic”.

As for the remainder of the atheist’s point: “. He is saying, “Jews are not responsible for all the evils of the world. Therefore, they are not responsible for any of the evils of the world.”

This is simply misrepresentation of what I wrote (you can read it for yourself) and it is the poor effort of the atheist to discredit the entire argument that points out his personal anti-Semitism. I never once suggested the Jews were not responsible for any evil. They have brought much evil upon themselves by turning away from their roots in faith. They are still human, and as unbelievers in their own God are very capable of all kinds of evil, but the atheist has sympathy only for those who murder innocents. That a nation might kill innocent people while fighting the terrorists using them for shields, the atheist makes no distinctions but must ensure the Jew is the one who is always wrong.

Then the atheist resorts to the outright lie: “He claims that the ignorance that he fatuously ascribes to the those desirous of justice in the Middle East is due to the bias of the media, which inculcate hatred of Jews, but this view is a screaming outrage in view of the fact that the mainstream media in the US are all run by Jews and their sympathizers and bias the news in favor of Israel, rather than vice versa.”

Read the papers in any European country, any Arab nation, any African nation, any nation that ascribes to Islam, any nation that is supported by Arab oil, and the United States. All are pulling for the Palestinians to get what they want. The United States said it would not support a Hamas led government, knowing Hamas for the terrorist organization it is and many of the local Arab nations stepped up their support of the terrorist government. No. The atheist has his head in the sand. He refuses to see the world is as pitted against Israel as he is. Jews do not own all the media for sure and they control no media outlet in any Arab nation.

If you are looking for Pro-Arab counterparts look to Bill Clinton, Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Howard Dean, Mahmoud Abdineajad, Al Gore, CAIR, Human Rights Watch, China, Russia, France, Al Frankin, Michael Moore, MoveOn.org and I could go on to include the atheist himself. The fact is you don’t need to look very far to find pro-Arab and pro-terrorist sympathy.

After the misrepresentation and the misunderstanding, then the outright lies comes the atheist’s stock in trade; the personal denigration. It is good to know that the atheist reads my articles even though he doesn’t understand them. I expect no atheist to understand or agree with me. But the atheist resorts to name-calling, knowing he is wrong and ridiculous.

I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ because it is the message of salvation to the believer…to the Jew first and also to the Greek. This is what the atheist is really upset about. He has no argument and no clue into the spiritual conflict that is being waged in the world. He stands in spiritual darkness and ignorance. It is a sad thing.

I do not “impute” anything to anyone. People naturally reject the Gospel of Christ because they are sinners. That is simply Christianity 101. The atheist shows his anger at the Jew and his apparent distaste for me by calling me names. He doesn’t reject my opinions because they are wrong. He rejects my opinions because I am a Christian and therefore someone to be despised and rejected. I am not an equal. I am the clown. That is an unreasonable assumption but one that is valuable to the atheist. The atheist must know he is the superior. Anyone who believes is God is the idiot.

The history of the wars between the Arab states and Israel since 1948 proves the rest of the argument of the atheist is mostly incorrect. What do I hate? I hate jihad. I hate an Islam that says it is okay to kill innocent people. I hate any Arab, atheist or liberal that protects the agenda of terrorists.

The atheist believes that since I am a Christian I should never “hate”. He thinks he is a better Christian. I don’t think so. The atheist says there are no gods. The scripture says that only a fool says there is no God. I’ll let the scripture have its say.

I’m sure there are many Arabs who have embraced Jesus as their Lord. There are symbols throughout the Middle East exclaiming the presence of people of the true faith. Those who come out openly risk imprisonment and death so I understand the majority voice being that of the Jew killers. As much as I would hope western anti-Semites would keep their opinions from supporting murderers I know they enjoy watching the deaths of supposed enemies. It will not end until God fulfills his final promises to his chosen nation.
