Apr. 23, 2006 People who are sympathetic to the cause of a Palestinian homeland probably don’t realize they are supporting terrorism and murder. I can understand this ignorance seeing the state of the mainstream media and the world’s collective hatred toward anything Jewish. It is naturally the fault of Jews and George Bush for anything detrimental that happens in the world. I call this “Sympathy for the Devil”. The aggressors are not America and Israel. Both those countries fight defensively. If they were the aggressive entities media makes them out to be then certainly all the Arab armies of the Middle East would have been destroyed long ago and Egypt, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan would now be collectively called “Israel”. There would be American ports and Air Bases dotting Middle Eastern landscapes and the Saudis would be behaving themselves, dreading the invasion of Mecca. That America has not pulled out all her available arsenal is a testament to patience and appeasement politics. The Middle East has been fortunate that William Clinton changed the attitude of America into its current wimp-ish self. The Middle East can consider the America left an ally, the American media part of its militant arm and the bleeding hearts of liberals as a shield against any possible criticism of the murderous policies emanating from places like Syria, Iran and Saudi Arabia. It is amazing how many pundits have turned apologists for Islamic murder. We don’t understand them. We must try to find out why they hate Westerners so much. The answers are very clear to the clear-headed. The Islamic terrorist sponsors hate America because we protect Israel. They hate Israel simply because that is their history. A long time ago God said there would be eternal enmity between the sons of Isaac and the sons of Ishmael. No amount of wishing otherwise will change what cannot be changed. Islam forces its adherents to reject the infidel. The more westernized anyone from a Middle Eastern society becomes they seemingly become more docile and amenable to not committing murder in the name of their god. The one North Carolina University graduate that attacked a campus with his rented SUV is of course one of the more glaring exemptions to that thought. But they almost all with one voice reject the Jew. Throughout history the Ishmaelite has found his allies in the Nazis, the Soviets and many of the European Nations who bought the lie that the Jew was a societal evil to be killed or deported. Each succeeding society that turned against the Jew found itself later in peril of decline and destruction. Eventually the world thought it had the answer; send all Jews back to Israel. Give the Jews back their biblical inheritance and let the chips fall. If the nations of Ishmael destroyed all the returning Jews then the world would be a better place. It is no amazing thing that God salvaged and protected the nation he long ago promised would return to its land. God doesn’t make it a habit to break promises. God told the progenitor of Isaac and Ishmael long ago that he would make Isaac a great kingdom and Ishmael a great people, but Ishmael would not be the one through whom the blessing would come. The jealousy has ensued unabated for centuries. The sons of Ishmael still strap on nail bombs and walk into public venues to create death where none is deserved. The world seems to sympathize with the murderers. This is no different then standing against the death penalty for those who would cannibalize a kidnapped 10 year old or someone who killed his pregnant wife and tossed her into the ocean or someone else who wore a pair of ill fitting gloves. What is funny is that many of those who do support the terrorist led government of the Palestinians would themselves be victims of that government were they living among the Islamic radicals while trying to be Unitarian or Communal or even atheistic. There are those who claim to have Islamic friends and that is probably a good thing, but I would ask where you have to make your compromises to do that? For instance you can live in Saudi Arabia with your wife as long as she wears her coverings and never holds your hand in public. Again, for any Middle Eastern culture what they manage as a government or a society within its own borders is just fine. When they begin exporting terror and culture and then begin demanding the world conform to accommodate a man-formed religion with no redeeming value absent jihad is where a line must be drawn. It is not racism to demand civilized debate without the homicide killings. It is not racism to point out the historical anti-Semitic attitudes and actions of Jew-haters. It is not racism to despise murder for no reason. It is not racism to support an ally against terrorism. There are those people in the world who bake pastry and celebrate the deaths of innocent Jewish women and children. I do not see Americans baking pastries and dancing in the streets over Iraqi dead, nor do I see Jews dancing in the streets every time a response to terrorist attacks kills a Palestinian.
