Is It God, Or Is It Man…….?

By Ken Hughes
Dec. 28, 2005

All knowledge comes from somewhere. People rely on a number of sources to formulate their beliefs. From Holy Scriptures in various religious books, scientific writings, discussions with others, and even personally analyzing situations and events. Man has the ability to think for himself, something deigned the rest of the animal world. Who gave them the ability to think? There’s no one source of information unless of course you believe in God. If you believe God’s the source of all knowledge then the rest becomes academic.

If believing God is the ultimate creator we can move on and man can discover all God’s given us using our brain to figure out how to connect the dots. Science then becomes a part of the equation but not the whole as some would like us to believe.

I’m sure at times God thinks “The examples are all around them why is it taking so long for them to figure it out?” Birds teach us flight. Wild animals teach us how to live within our environment. Plant life teaches us about reproduction. Gods, imparted knowledge comes one discovery at a time, otherwise man would be overwhelmed to a point of total confusion. All past, present, and future knowledge is available it just depends on when Gods willing to release it.

Patent and Copyright are two of the most arrogant words in the English language. On this, I can speak with some authority since I have a few of both. I took things God presented me and put them together in a workable form. I took ideas God put in my head and put them on paper. If you doubt me ask my friend Dr. Brooks Mick the basic ingredients in most modern medicines and he’ll tell you they come form plant life millions of years in the making mans neither created or invented. Man with a few million years of Gods nudging was able to figure out.

Any man who rejects God in favor of his own intellect is a fool who’ll soon be proven a fool. Man has no ability to create other than what’s been put on this earth for him to work with. Man has the God given ability to analyze and assemble, beyond that man is totally incapable of creation. Some, not all have allowed science to mislead them into the belief man’s the creator. I would ask them where does man get the materials for his creations if not from God.

I can think of nothing on this planet that isn’t connected in one form or another. All the elements on this earth relate to each other in the end. There are several food chains knowledge, and thought being included as the most important. The ability to think rather than rely on instincts allows man to survive above the levels of the animal and plant world. Is there any doubt it was Gods plan and not mans ambitions that brought him to this level.

Science and Religion are at odds with each other in the battle for supremacy of beliefs as to what is and what isn’t the truth regarding Gods plan for the planet earth. If both would step back, take a deep breath, and decide to work together to make this planet what God intended it to be we’d all be better off. With an admission of some fallibility on the part of all religions and sciences there should be no reason they couldn’t come together in a common agreement as to how to proceed with the future of the planet

Does listening to God and accepting he / she / it as the intimate authority make sense to anyone?
