Dec. 22, 2005 It started a while ago when Saddam Hussein was captured and made to look a pathetic and sympathetic character being oppressed by a wicked and immoral American enemy. How dare we take pictures of Saddam in his underwear for the world to ogle? Then came lies about systematic Koran desecration and the torture of detainees at Gitmo and Abu Gharib. The torture was authorized at the highest levels of government. The chorus sang about secret CIA torture chambers salted throughout the world. Now, the New York Times grabs up a false story about secret spying in America, taking its lead from Al Jazeera. With all this aid and assistance being given radical Islamists I can picture Zaqawi, Zawahiri and the new number three guy, Osama bin Laden all sitting and drinking tea and laughing; watching the latest Larry Flynt offerings and commenting on all their latest victories. We know this story is over a year old. It was held to promote a book by another leftist sycophant. “New” stories only a year old about “secret” spying ordered by the President against the innocent “American” public have been published for the information gathering of our enemies. It doesn’t matter that there is a special court overseeing and examining the procedures every 45 days to ensure no domestic laws are being broken. It doesn’t matter that Jay Rockefeller, among other Senators and Congresspersons were appraised of the program and given a dozen briefings on the “secret” spying. It doesn’t matter that the only targets of the spying were foreign enemies of America. This was a government effort to infringe on the rights of Americans by the President! Now the American public is being asked to believe Big Brother is checking for stains in shorts. Senator John McCain gets his “No Torture for Terrorists”, feel-good legislation in support of enemies passed and the Senate jams up the extension of the Patriot Act and the terrorists declare victory over the “Great Satan” while ensuring the lies of Murtha and Pelosi are made out to be true. We are being led by idiots. We are being led by men and women who support our enemies and weaken our nation’s ability to defend itself. The military tried to counter the anti-American articles of the Islamic press and the American left by getting Iraqi news outlets to print true stories about the good things that are being accomplished. The left labels that “propaganda” because the stories contain no anti-Americanism. The American Mainstream media prints 8 anti-American articles to every one pro-American piece and that is called “balance”. The Iraqi people form a government, elect a parliament and formulate a constitution in 3 years and that is not a historical or reportable event. Bush secretly spied on American enemies of America. The Iraqi army conducts solo operations and takes more responsibility for Iraqi security and war fighting. This is not historical or newsworthy. Bush spied on American enemies of America. New schools are built, formerly oppressed women are voting in elections, hospitals are renovated, roads are cleared, personal business ownership is at record pace, and the economy is stabilizing and growing. None of that matters. Bush ordered the NSA to spy on American enemies of America. This is all rather sickening. About the only accusation I haven’t heard about President Bush over the past 5 years is that he beats his wife and sends his kids to bed without supper. To hear the left speak, I have a President who loves war. He loves death. He doesn’t care about anyone or anything except keeping his good buddy Clinton from being besmirched by republicans; his buddy John McCain from being “dissed” by democrats and his pal Ted Kennedy from being arrested for second or third degree homicide. How dare our rotten and ridiculous President demand accountability from teachers who fail to teach, public officials who fail to protect their cities and a Clintonized CIA that failed to give proper intelligence; tricking him into accepting the words of leftists who were calling for war against his friend Saddam. We needed that oil! We needed that desert! We didn’t have enough sand left after all those hurricanes so we need to import as much as possible from Iraq before giving back their country. Domestic spying eh? Anyone remember the 900 FBI files borrowed by Bill and Hillary? They had a fellow by the name of Craig Livingstone go through the files of Republicans so the Clintons could have the dirt on anyone they considered an enemy. President Bush intercepts incoming overseas calls from known terrorists to parties assisting them in the US and that is a crime while the illegal procurement of 900 FBI files of Americans goes unmentioned? And don’t get me started on the domestic spying of Presidents Clinton and Carter who both wrote executive orders permitting spying on Americans in America without court orders! The loudest words are being spoken by the biggest worms.
